Fahimeh Orvati Nia is a PhD student in Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence, computer vision, and machine learning, with applications in image processing, anomaly detection, and graph neural networks. She holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a B.Sc. in Control Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology. Dhanush Shekar
Dhanush Dhana Shekar is a Master’s student in Data Science (Electrical and Computer Engineering track) at Texas A&M University. His primary interests are in machine learning and deep learning, with a particular focus on convolutional neural networks. He often approaches problems from a computer vision perspective, modeling them as visual tasks whenever possible. He is especially interested in using artificial intelligence to bridge interdisciplinary gaps by applying machine learning techniques to real-world challenges beyond traditional technology domains, including healthcare and other data-driven scientific and engineering applications. Outside of academics, he enjoys playing table tennis and closely follows Formula 1 and soccer.
Prathmesh Thorwe
Prathmesh Thorwe graduated in 2021 from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science with a degree in Electronics and Communication. He spent three years at Qualcomm as a System Validation and Automation Engineer, where he focused on the functional validation and automation of SoC features. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University, Prathmesh’s research interests include machine learning, computer vision, and embedded systems, with a particular emphasis on applying computer vision techniques to solve real-world challenges.

Bio: Uday Vysyaraju is a Master’s Student in Data Science. Uday completed his Bachelors and Masters of Technology in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. He worked as an AI Specialist Researcher for 4 years at LG CNS, Seoul, Korea. His research interests are in Machine Learning and Computer Vision. In his free time, Uday enjoys cooking, hiking and cycling.
