Yash Zambre selected for internship with Qualcomm Technologies!

Posted on April 20, 2023 by Joshua Peeples

Congratulations to our labmate, Yash Zambre, for securing an internship with Qualcomm Technologies for Summer 2023. Yash will be Interim Engineering Intern. The goal of his project is to create a data repository of global navigation satellite system (GNSS) positioning data from different real-life scenarios in various environments and then design rules for selecting satellites based on multiple criteria like elevation angle, signal strength, and constellation/signal type to see the impact on positioning performance. His duties include 1) studying the impact of smart satellite selection logic for optimizing location accuracy performance and processor load balancing and 2) conducting thorough data analytics and building necessary tools to compare performance visually. We are excited to see your great work this summer!
