Sree Chandar

Sree Chandar is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from SRM Institute of Science and Technology in Chennai, India. Prior to her master’s studies, she gained valuable experience as a Validation Engineer at Stellantis (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles). Sree is committed to exploring advancements in technology and is driven to push the boundaries of innovation. Outside of her studies and work, she enjoys immersing herself in world cinema and delving into fiction novels.

Logan Garcia

Logan Garcia is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Engineering. He graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science in May 2024. He received a GEM Master’s Fellowship. Through the GEM Fellowship, he had his first internship in Summer 2024 at IBM’s Silicon Valley Lab (SVL) located in San Jose CA. He worked with a team on a chatbot that uses retrieval augmented generation (RAG) to provide an existing LLM with knowledge based on IBM documents, without the need to train or tune the model. His research and career interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotics.

Tejashri Kelhe

Bio: Tejashri Kelhe is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Science. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Cummins College of Engineering, Pune University. Her research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Meta Learning. Beyond her academic pursuits, she enjoys engaging in songwriting, poetry, music production, and digital art.

Omar Khater

Omar Khater is a masters of science student in computer engineering at Texas A&M University.  He is an Amazon Web Services (AWS) certified Machine Learning Engineer and comes with 3 years of industry experience when he worked as a machine learning engineer at Si-Ware Systems.

Amirmohammad Mohammadi

Bio: Amirmohammad Mohammadi is a PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University, where he specializes in the intersection of signal processing and artificial intelligence. With a background in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tabriz and Sharif University of Technology, his current research focuses on the development of AI algorithms for applications in time-series analysis and computer vision.

Akshatha Mohan

Akshatha Mohan is a Master’s student in Computer Engineering. Akshatha completed her Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communication at Bangalore Institute of Technology. Her current research focus is in the areas of computer vision and machine learning. In her free time, Akshatha enjoys sketching and writing articles.

Pragati Naikare

Bio: Pragati Naikare is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Science. She earned her Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science with a Gold medal from Pune University (India). Her research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision. She enjoy painting, exploring new places, reading articles on technology/science/fiction, and playing outdoor games.

Shaina Nair

Shaina Nair is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Science. Before coming to America, she worked as an Associate Data Scientist at KPMG for 2.5 years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, often referred to as India’s version of MIT. Her current research interests are focused on Reinforcement Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP), particularly in their applications in Recommender Systems. Outside of her academic pursuits, Shaina enjoys anime, comics, football, and all things entertainment.

Fahimeh Orvati Nia

Fahimeh Orvati Nia is a PhD student in Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence, computer vision, and machine learning, with applications in image processing, anomaly detection, and graph neural networks. She holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a B.Sc. in Control Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology. Fahimeh is passionate about leveraging AI to solve real-world challenges, particularly in agriculture, robotics, and smart systems
